10 weird facts about me

Lucid Dreaming

Hey guys. I want to talk a little about lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is when you’re dreaming, but are aware that you are dreaming, and it’s not real life. I’ve had several lucid dreams. So far they haven’t been on purpose. Some of them was actually when I had nightmares. In these nightmares I had become aware that it was just a dream, and I could wake up from it whenever I wanted to. So I did, which was kind of nice because these dreams weren’t very pleasant haha. Other times it has been in positive dreams, where I from dream to dream have taught myself how to fly. So good that I can now, whenever I’m dreaming lucid, just fly without any kind of effort. I can control the flying extremely good. It is very funny if I’m chasing something or something is chasing me. To just fly and then everything gets easier. Ofc, this was the reason why, I taught myself flying in the beginning.
I’ve had some dreams where I flew to other dimensions too. Good and bad. I always get there through a tiny hole in the sky.

The thing about lucid dreaming is, that you cannot control the entire dream (as far as I know). Sometimes you can’t even do anything about the dream, other than just let it play itself out as it’s supposed to.

Right now I am trying to program my subconscious mind to always check if it’s real life or a dream. So I, in that way, can have more and more lucid dreams. I just began with this, so it’s exciting to see if it works. My reality check is placing my right hand under my nose or touch my septum. This is something I do several times a day, and if I start doing it only to check if what I’m experiencing is real, hopefully I will start doing it in my dreams. In that way, it will make me remember that it is a dream, because the feeling I’m connecting to that action is so strong.

Have you guys ever had lucid dreams? Can you lucid dream on purpose? I’ve just started exploring lucid dreaming now, so I am very curious!

Love, Caro

You should read the books of Carlos Castaneda. He described of ancient Mexican wisdom about Dreaming.
The Shamans could control their dreams consciously and they created Dream Body….
There is a story of female shaman who could fly in awakening state….she practiced flying in awakening Dream….
